Barbara S. Trimble
Bio: Barbara Schubert Trimble is a local artist who is well-known for her many ink drawings of doorways and buildings in the Madison and Hanover areas. Her work includes "Doorways of Madison" which were printed on bridge tallies, score pads, cocktail napkins, postcards prints and note paper. Her work has also graced the cover of a local cookbook as well as the cover design for the Indiana University -Indianapolis Law Review. She has also done cover designs for two books written by her husband. Barbara has studied art all her life, working in commercial art in high school and at Indiana University where she earned an A.B. degree in Spanish and Government. She has worked in various mediums but prefers pen and ink watercolors. She now is enjoying the freedom of painting large bright and cheery flowers in watercolor.

Bio: William Lackner spent most of his childhood in Library, Pennsylvania, a small town south of Pittsburgh. Upon completion of High School, he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh until a low lottery number issued by the Vietnam Era draft board motivated him to join the U.S. Navy. He later worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration until the PATCO vs. the federal government labor dispute in 1981. He attended West Virginia State University and received a degree in Electronics and an employment opportunity prompted his move to Madison in 1985. Wood carving has been his latest endeavor, searching the banks of the Ohio River for the raw material of his next project. In addition to drawing, he enjoys wood carving, photography, painting and playing music.

Bio: I am a semi-professional artist/painter of 2 dimensional work. I paint in oil, watercolor, acrylic and I create in pen & ink, graphite, pastel, and mixed media. I have entered and won awards in exhibits in Indiana and Ohio. I work out of my home and display my work in the SIAG gallery in Aurora. I paint en plein air and also finish work in my home.
