Bio: Anthony Redfeather Nava is from the Pascua Yaqui Nation of Arizona. He was born in Germany, his father was in the military and was based there. His father's name is Everado Nava and is from the Pascua Yaqui tribe and his mother's name is Mary Nava Fraire and she is from the Keetoowah Band of Cherokee of Oklahoma. His father was transferred to Kentucky and Anthony moved to Southern Indiana when he married his wife, Shannon. Anthony was taught in the traditional manner of Native American crafts by his grandmother and other elders and artisans in the community, in beadwork, leather crafting, painting and woodworking. In his mixed media repertoire he explores the use of traditionally made items with blending contemporary mediums. He makes traditionally made river cane flutes in which the cane comes from locally grown areas in Southern Indiana. His paintings depict traditional native life using acrylics; also his bead and leather work mirrors that of his ancestors that came before him keeping his native heritage alive.

Bio: William Lackner spent most of his childhood in Library, Pennsylvania, a small town south of Pittsburgh. Upon completion of High School, he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh until a low lottery number issued by the Vietnam Era draft board motivated him to join the U.S. Navy. He later worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration until the PATCO vs. the federal government labor dispute in 1981. He attended West Virginia State University and received a degree in Electronics and an employment opportunity prompted his move to Madison in 1985. Wood carving has been his latest endeavor, searching the banks of the Ohio River for the raw material of his next project. In addition to drawing, he enjoys wood carving, photography, painting and playing music.
