Bio: David Kocka, born at the edge of the Mississippi in northern Minnesota has lived in Southern Indiana on the edge of the Ohio for 25 years. Kocka's creative pilgrimage began in 1969 working under the tutelage of Paul T. Granlund. After studies at St. Louis U, The Pontifical Institute in Rome, and St. Bonaventure College in New York State, he came to Indiana and created a studio and foundry in 1983. Since then he has moved to Laconia, Indiana on 140 acres where a new studio, bronze foundry and forge shop has been developed. All aspects of his creative process are supervised "in house". Primary materials used are cast and fabricated bronze as well as designed and forged ornamental ironwork. Other materials are also incorporated in his process, stone, glass, cast-glass, stainless steel and wood carving. Venues include: home & garden works, memorials, public commissions, private commissions, gallery fine arts forums and liturgical art.

Leon Michl

Bio: When Leon Michl was a child, his dream was to be a blacksmith like his grandfather. While Leon was busily employed at the local hospital as a surgeon, he was able to buy a barn and accumulate the tools that he needed for blacksmithing. As his hobby over the past years, Leon has made small art objects such as candlesticks and other ornamental iron decorative pieces. When someone asks if he really is a blacksmith he says "Yes, but I don't do horses."

Bio: P.M. Cunningham is well known for his expertise in mid-nineteenth century tin ware. His reproductions are made the old-fashioned way with 150 year old equipment and hot-dipped tin, a process which lends itself to creating each article with a one-of-a kind charm. Some of his handcrafted items are on display locally at Binzer's Custom Framing. A cobbler as well, you may even catch him cobbling in Binzer's front window.
