Bio: I am an artitst whose work of landscapes and flowers has a Chrisitian theme. My main medium is water-miscible oils. I have original work at the Pendleton in Rising Sun, at the SIAG Studios in Aurora, at the Pendleton Gallery on Newport on the Levee, and at Art 4 the Light Studios in Milan, there are prints and cards avialable at each location, except the Newport Gallery. At Art 4 the Light Studios, I teach beginning classes in Water-Miscible Oils, Water Color, Acrylics, and Tole Paitning as well as, a course for Intermediate, Advanced Water-Miscible Oils and workshops.

Creates: My work is primarily focused in two areas; abstract sculpture and figurative paintings. Ceramic is my medium of choice for my sculptures, but mixed media including wood metal and large cement pieces are also employed. My sculptures range in size from table top to large landscape pieces. People are the main focus of my paintings. My work has included children playing soccer, street people striving to survive and lately musicians. My paintings are large-life size and up.

Barbara S. Trimble
Bio: Barbara Schubert Trimble is a local artist who is well-known for her many ink drawings of doorways and buildings in the Madison and Hanover areas. Her work includes "Doorways of Madison" which were printed on bridge tallies, score pads, cocktail napkins, postcards prints and note paper. Her work has also graced the cover of a local cookbook as well as the cover design for the Indiana University -Indianapolis Law Review. She has also done cover designs for two books written by her husband. Barbara has studied art all her life, working in commercial art in high school and at Indiana University where she earned an A.B. degree in Spanish and Government. She has worked in various mediums but prefers pen and ink watercolors. She now is enjoying the freedom of painting large bright and cheery flowers in watercolor.
